French Windows Launched – Check out the Pics

January 4th, 2010

The latest addition to our uPVC Trade Frames is a complete range of traditional style French Windows with a “floating”  mullion enabling both of the windows to open fully. These windows made with the Kommerling profiles are available in White, Oak, Oak on White, Rosewood and Rosewood on White. Because both windows open, you can offer your customer a fire escape with even proportions rather than offset sizes when the window is less than 1200mm wide.

Security is maximised because the slave sash has a shoot-bolt locking system and key locking handle, while the master sash is secured by the MACO inline R.A.I.L. lock with key locking handle.

The sashes are fitted with egress hinges for maximum opening.

Call us for more details on 0161 482 2323!

Second Saw Centre has just been commissioned

September 24th, 2009
Here at Alexander Windows we have just commissioned a second saw centre which takes our output capacity to 1500 frames per week! This doubling of our capacity means that your Trade frames are always ready on time when you need them. The name ’saw centre’ doesn’t do it justice because this machine does every cut, mitre, drilling and routing that is required in the finished article.  It even knows what off-cuts have been produced and will call for them when it can use them, thus minimising the waste.
