At Alexander Windows we manufacturer all our own frames and the majority of our doors. Keeping all this in-house guarantees complete quality control and ensures you get your order correct and on time… every time!
You start the manufacturing process by sending us an enquiry for windows, doors or a conservatory.
All of our quotations are prepared using the very latest design software that is fully interlaced with our computer controlled machinery in the factory. Our quotations are fully detailed and include our interpretation of the information you have provided in your enquiry.
Once you sign to say you are happy with the details you see, our only action is to tell the computer that your enquiry is now an order. Your order will be made exactly as you have agreed, because the details in our quotation to you are then interpreted by our CNC machinery and the manufacturing process begins.
A careful blend of automation and skilled focussed staff enables us to manufacture tailor made windows, doors, porches and conservatories efficiently using Kömmerling Connoisseur Gold traditional sculptured profile sections.
To enable older properties to retain their traditional look, whilst taking advantage of the most efficient heat retaining materials available, we now include a fully welded sash-horn style frame in our range.
All sections are prepared for fabrication on our CNC “Saw Centre” that mitres to size whilst milling and routing for drainage and sash furniture. The sections are then assembled using the very latest 4 and 6 head welding machines.
Glazing beads are measured using the latest electronic equipment. These measurements are then digitally transferred to one of the mitre saws to produce glazing beads that fit absolutely perfectly every time.
Our frames, transoms, mullions and sashes are reinforced in all critical locations. Reinforcement is made from corrosion resistant galvanized steel.
